[190 x 123 x 33 mm]. xvii, [iii], 618 pp. Contemporary binding by Zaehnsdorf (signed in gilt on the front turn-in in with blind stamp on rear doublure) of brown goatskin, the covers tooled in gilt with a border composed of a wave roll, double fillets flanking repeated impressions of a Greek-key tool and a flower head, with palmettes at the inner corners and the centre of each side. Spine divided into six panels with gilt compartments, lettered in the second and fourth and at the foot, the others with small corner tools, the edges of the boards tooled with a gilt double fillet, the turn-ins with gilt rolls, red silk endleaves and doublures, gilt edges.
