Cosway style binding by Bayntun-Riviere in full green morocco, the covers and spine elaborately gilt in the Restoration style, the upper cover enclosing an original portrait miniature of Samuel Pepys, leather joints, crimson leather doublures, endleaves of crimson silk, top edge gilt, others uncut. Contained within a custom-made green cloth slipcase. Stock no. 3410.
