Illustrated throughout with woodcuts.

Large 8vo. [261 x 184 x 3 mm]. 24 pp. Original light olive paper wrappers, the title within a chromolithographed border on the front, the rear cover and inside covers with a continuation of the illustrated catalogue. [ebc8089].

[Nottingham: printed by A. Goater, 1875?

The front cover is signed by Goater of Nottingham, and there is an inserted slip advertising the forthcoming catalogue for 1876, containing over a thousand designs. Library Hub locates a 12 edition [1851?] (V&A), and undated 20th edition (University of Glasgow), a 57th edition of 1875 (V&A), 58th edition of 1877 (Manchester Metropolitan) and a 70th edition of 1899 (V&A).

A very good copy of the abridged version of the full 160pp catalogue, but still offering a wide range of ecclesiastical items from Fair Linen Cloths to Alabaster Reredos (£47 10s, with Marble Cross 35/- extra).
