In the collection of the Right Honourable Welbore Ellis. After a painting by Angelica Kauffman, engraved by Jean Baptiste Michel.

Stipple engraving. Folio. [480 x 375 mm]. A young woman reclining and reading a book in what appears to be a cave near the seaside. (A minor mark towards the top of the engraving and a partially faded inscription, otherwise in good condition). [ebc8161].

London: published by John Boydell, Cheapside, March 25th, 1784.

A very rare engraving, only one copy can be located online at the National Gallery of Victoria, accession number: 2223-3.
