Short service, on the presentation of a life-boat to the town and inhabitants of Ilfracombe. [ILFRACOMBE].

£75.00

Small 8vo. [160 x 125 mm]. (4) pp. (Minor fraying, folded, as issued). [ebc8094].

Ilfracombe: J. Banfield, [1850].

The lifeboat station in Ilfracombe was established in 1828, and a new lifeboat bought by the local populace in 1850. The printer, Banfield, was active between about 1820 and 1870. From the typography of this little piece we believe it refers to the replacment lifeboat of 1850 rather than the orginal.
