Engraved folio broadside (plate area 357 x 255 mm, overall size of the sheet 412 x 282 mm) with a fine mezzotint portrait of Barnard by McArdell after Allen Ramsay above his declaration of thanks (dated 1754) for being elected six times MP for the city, and the Court of Aldermen's motion (dated 1758) recognising his long and distinguished service and reluctantly accepting his resignation as Alderman.
London: by J. Boydell, Engraver, 1758.

A few spots and slightly browned but a handsome tribute.
