The Large Paper Edition, limited to 250 copies, of which this is numbered 207. Contemporary ink inscription on the half-title: "Sansom. The Shanty. Yelverton". A fine copy of this monumental work. It was first published in 1848 and again in 1856, and "has long since won an honoured place in the great English library of topographical works" (Preface).
