No. 26 of 50 large paper copies, initialled by Eyton. With a bound-in letter from Eyton to Sir David Dundas, dated 1st December 1848, presenting the volume at the request of the bookseller Joseph Lilly. "My anxious endeavour has been to present these Large Paper Copies to those only that can really value such a volume. I may therefore add with great sincerity that I feel proud at having it in my power to place a copy in your library, and am much complimented by your expressing a wish to possess one". Dundas was a member of the Roxburghe Club from 1841 until 1864.

With the bookplate of John Roland Abbey, member of the Roxburghe Club from 1946 until 1969. Booklabels of Ruari McLean and John Porter (bought from Maggs Bros in 1990 for £300 and then rebound).

Some copies have a second title-page which adds "Comprising An Extraordinary Collection of Privately Printed Books, Large Paper Copies, Works Printed upon Vellum, &c. &c. Which will be Sold by Auction by Messrs. S. Leigh Sotheby & Co., Auctioneers of Literary Property and Works Illustrative of the Fine Arts, on Monday, 15th May, and Seven following Days (Sunday Excepted), at their House, Wellington Street, Strand". It was a truly remarkable library, particularly rich in bindings by Hayday.
