With the half-title with advertisements on the verso. Occasional minor soiling and small hole in outer margin of pp.149-156, but a very good copy. Small stab-holes indicate that it was originally issued in wrappers, which may well have been the purple endleaves. It was then resewn into the boards, which have since have been stripped of the covering material, leaving only the sheepskin corners. With various early ink inscriptions, including "David Thomas his Book", "William Samuel his hand his Book 1790", "William Samuel his hand 1792", "William Samuel his Book 1797" and "William Pritchard his Book". David Thomas also added his initials "DT" to the title-page.
The first Welsh edition of Bunyan's Exposition on the First Ten Chapters of Genesis, originally published in English in his collected works in 1691. ESTC locates four copies in the UK (British Library, Oxford, University College of Wales and Brotherton), five copies at Harvard, and one at the University of Alberta.
