Contemporary mauchline ware binding, featuring a red and black tartan design with 'Rob Roy' lettered in gilt at the head of the front board along with an illustration of Stirling Castle within a decorated gilt border. The turn-ins tooled in gilt with a roll. pale yellow endpapers, gilt gauffered edges. (Neatly rebacked with a black morocco spine, a few minor scuff marks to the boards).
