8vo. [216 x 158 x 36 mm]. [5]ff, 347pp, [5]ff. Bound by Hatchards (signed in gilt on the front turn-in) in full red morocco, the covers with a gilt fillet border and three dots to each inner corner, the front lettered in gilt. The spine divided into six panels by raised bands with gilt compartments, lettered in the second panel and dated at the foot, the others with three gilt dots to the inner corners, the raised bands flanked by blind lines protruding onto the boards, culminating in a leafy tip, the turn ins with a triple fillet border, with blue endleaves, gilt edges. (Some discolouration, a little rubbed and corners lightly bumped. The inner hinges are starting to split but holding).

The endpapers are a little browned. Internally very clean with some light browning to the edges and some corners a little creased. A very good copy.
