First English Edition. 8vo. [239 x 150 x 22 mm]. [4]ff, 103, [1] pp. Bound in the publisher's quarter light blue cloth, cream paper boards patterned in olive-green, spine lettered in gilt, untrimmed edges. In the original cream dust-wrapper lettered in green. (Wrapper slightly soiled with short tear).
London: Chatto & Windus, 1931.

Woolf A 34 b.

A fine copy. First published in Florence by Orioli in 1930 in an edition of 250 copies, priced at three guineas. This London edition was limited to 650 copies, of which 600 were for sale, this being no.530. The wrapper offers "A hitherto unpublished portrait of the author". It was priced at 15s. This copy was bought from Stanley Crowe in Norwich for £8 10s in 1968.
