Rouen its History, Monuments, and Environs, a Guide Necessary to Travellers who wish to become thoroughly acquainted with the Capital of Normandy, and the most interesting localities in its neighourhood. The Sixth Edition, Revised and annotated by Ed. Frere. Illustrated with Engravings, a Plan of Rouen and a Map of the Lower-Seine. Translated from the french by M. D. C. and M. H. Barguet, prof. of languages.

Engraved frontispiece, two folding maps, six plates.

12mo. [156 x 101 x 20 mm]. [2]ff, viii, 195, [1], 16 pp. Bound in the publisher's pink printed paper wrappers. (A little worn and slightly soiled).
Rouen: [F. and A. Lecointe brothers, Printers] A. Le Brument, Publisher, Bookseller to the Public Library, 55, quai Napoleon, 1858

Occasional spotting, and final section of advertisements browned. A very good copy.

Library Hub locates editions of 1840 (V & A, Oxford), 1843 (Exeter), 1846 (BL), 1855 (Cambridge), 1856 (Cambridge), 1857 (BL, University of Birmingham, London Library) and 1866 (BL). this 1858 edition does not appear to be recorded elsewhere.
