4to. [255 x 195 x 20 mm]. 128p. Bound in quarter green morocco by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, with their ink pallet on the verso of the front free endpaper, with cream cloth sides, with illustrated map endleaves and top edge gilt, the others with a deckle edge. (Spine has faded and there are some marks to the cloth).

London: The Golden Cockerel Press, 1943

Limited edition of 500 copies signed by the author, of which this is number 116. This beautifully printed book describes Captain de Chair's experiences in the campaign to relieve Habbaniya and capture Baghdad.
