The spine divided into six panels by gilt tooled raised bands and two line gilt compartments, lettered in the second and third on brown leather labels, the others with gilt centres and corner pieces, with green endpapers, top edge gilt. (Corners and edges slightly rubbed, light fraying to the cloth).

Containing a facsimile title page, with 6pp advertisements to the rear. The illustrations are bright and clean, with just a little offsetting. Internally very clean with very occasional light foxing and browning to the half title and pp.70-71. A near fine copy.
