Bound in publisher's original dark brown cloth, the front board blocked in gilt with a motif of a peacock, the spine lettered and blocked in gilt, yellow pictorial endleaves, top edge gilt, the others uncut. Each volume housed in their original dustjackets. (Bindings firm and square, the dustjackets generally in good condition, slight soiling, a closed tear to the dustjacket of Endymion and partial loss to the dustjacket of Alroy).

Text blocks clean, free from any foxing. Newspaper clippings relating to Disraeli neatly pasted to the endleaves and front fly leaves of volume vii and the final four volumes, as well as a neat ink inscription to the front fly leaf of Tancred (volume x). Overall an attracive set in very good condition.
