[6]ff, 878 pp. Bound in half red morocco with marbled paper sides, gilt fillet borders to the leather, spine divided into three sections with raised bands, gilt fillet borders, lettered to the second section and numbered at the base of the spine in gilt, with art-noveau style tooling in gilt, marbled endleaves and top edge gilt.

A very good art-nouveau style binding for Hatchard's, with their stamp to the front flyleaf.
