14 (of 16) volumes. 8vo. [230 x 145 x 525 mm]. Bound in the original puce calico, printed paper labels, uncut edges. (Vols.1-3 neatly rebacked preserving original spines, labels rubbed, spines unevenly faded).

Printed in an edition of 1250 copies. Without the final two volumes which were published in 1834. JP notes "Rare subscriber's copy in primary state of issue with variant cloth covers, printed subscriber's labels, publisher's lists and errata". Vols 4-13 have the label "Subscriber's Copy no.542" (the same number is written by hand in vol.14). The advertisements appear in vols. 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 14. A very good copy. Bought from H. S. Linfield in 1962 and neatly repaired by the Cottage Bindery in Bath in 1996.
