The spine divided into five compartments, lettered in gilt in the second and fourth, pale yellow endleaves. (Spines slightly toned, extremities lightly bumped).

Light foxing to the title pages and frontispieces, otherwise very clean. Overall in very good condition. Bookplates of John Porter and Johnathan Rashleigh to the front paste downs.

Edited by George Croly (1780-1860), Irish poet, novelist, historian and Anglican priest who served as rector of St Stephen Walbrook from 1835 until his death.
