[186 x 127 x 32 mm]. 315 pp. Newly bound by Bayntun-Riviere in full green morocco, the boards tooled in gilt with a border composed of a single fillet, repeated dots and a double fillet and wave roll, the bottom right corner of front board blocked with an image of Smaug the dragon. The spine divided into six panels by tooled raised bands, lettered in gilt in the second, third and fourth panels, the others with a double fillet and wave roll, tooled in the corners with dots. Headcaps and edges of the boards tooled in gilt, the turn-ins tooled with gilt fillets and wave roll and repeated dots, gilt and marbled endleaves, gilt edges.
