[190 x 126 x 38 mm]. viii, 312 pp. Newly bound by Bayntun-Riviere in full dark green morocco, the boards tooled in gilt with a single line fillet border, the front cover blocked with a calligraphic style bird. The spine divided into six panels by tooled raised bands, lettered in gilt in the second and third and dated at the foot, the edges of the boards and turn-ins tooled in gilt with a single line gilt fillet, marbled endleaves, gilt edges.

Internally clean, free from any inscriptions.

A series of short episodes, mixing accounts of the narrator's day-to-day activities and other fanciful tales set largely around Kensington Gardens. It is noteworthy as it includes the first appearance of Peter Pan, eventually leading to Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens being separately published in 1906.
