A commemorative piece in honour of Sir Jack Hobbs' professional cricketing career for England and Surrey. Hobbs is regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket with a professional career spanning for twenty-nine years between 1905-1934. In first-class cricket he holds the record for most runs scored (61,237) as well as for most centuries (197). Hobbs was named as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Century alongside Sir Donald Bradman, Sir Garfield Sobers, Sir Viv Richards and Shane Warne.
