With the pink paper slip on the half-title, which reads "Price five shillings. Obtainable from the Author, c/o T. Cook and Son, Florence". The pages remain unopened and it is in mint condition other than a green ink inscription of the half-title: "With kindest Christmas wishes from Norman Douglas. Capri. Nov. 1950". The recipient was Stephen Clark.
