8vo. [179 x 115 x 20 mm]. [2]ff, xvi, [viii], 159, [29] pp. Bound in contemporary sprinkled calf, the coves with a gilt double fillet border. The spine divided into six panels by raised bands flanked with gilt double fillets, red sprinkled edges. (Lacking front free endleaf and rear pastedown, a little worn around the edges).

A few marks and signs of use but a very good copy. Early ink ownership inscription at the head of the title "Morshead. E. Coll. Exon" - i.e. an undergraduate named Morshead from Exeter College, Oxford.

Previously published in 1730 and 1732. 12 editions were published by 1799, including Dublin, Exeter and Wolverhampton printings.
